Cyber crime wing of Central Crime Department (CCB) has warned of stringent motion in opposition to any particular person or teams spreading fallacious data or hearsay over social media networks.
The warning was issued following the sharing of a video over social media linking it to the alleged custodial deaths in Sattankulam.
In a press launch, the cyber crime wing police stated that some individuals have been spreading faux information, rumours and circulating a video which was on no account linked to the Sattankulam incident. Following complaints, the wing has taken up the matter for investigation.
