5. Spider-man: Homecoming (2017)
Spider-Man: Homecoming is the action-adventure movie sequel to Spider-Man: Far from Home. It’s about a 15-year-old boy named Peter Parker, played by Tom Holland, who returns home after the civil war which took place in Captain America: Civil War. Returning home, he finds himself wanting to do more to help the city after crossing paths with a villain named the Vulture played by Micael Keaton. His wish became possible with the support of Tony Stark, played by Rober Downey Jr.
4. Ironman (2008)
Released in 2008, this first MCU title is still one of the best. It’s about an industrialist named Tony Stark played by Robert Downey Jr. who was kidnapped because of his knowledge of firearms. He then constructs a high-tech armoured suit to escape which created his legacy.
3. Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)
Captain America: The Winter Soldier released in 2014 finds its spot on top 3. The film follows the chaotic events after The Avengers where Steve Rogers played by Chris Evans teams up with Black Widow played by Scarlett Johansson with the addition of Falcon played by Anthony Mackie in a mission to uncover the secret behind a deadly, mysterious assassin.
The sequel becomes a fan favourite as it’s jam-packed with many action scenes and not to mention, unexpected twists and turns that make it one of the most exciting films in the MCU franchise.
2. Black Panther (2018)
This film was released in 2018 starring Chadwick Boseman who played T’Challa. It became the first superhero film to be nominated for an Academy Award Best Picture so if you still haven’t watched it, this is one compelling reason why you should.
The setting of the movie took place in the secret technologically advanced nation of Wakanda where T’Challa returns to after his father’s death to inherit his throne. However, a powerful enemy related to his family named Killmonger played by Michael B Jordan threatens to attack his nation.
- Avengers: Endgame (2019)
And Avengers: Endgame makes it to the top of the list! Released in 2019, this finale to The Avengers tetralogy was a huge success for the MCU and became the highest-grossing film over a year. The events take place after Thanos, an intergalactic warlord disintegrates half of the universe. To restore balance, the Avengers must reunite and assemble again and undo what Thanos did. The rollercoaster of emotion from start to finish makes this film the most unforgettable moment in the MCU.
